14) Camp Details

A Movie Camp is going to be conducted at Technopark , on 27th July 2008 (Sunday)
The Camp is led by Hari Kumar (Director) .

Those who are interested in short movie creation, can join this camp.

Morning Section will be on:

1) Steps in Creating a short movie
2) The Script
3) The Story Board
4) Screen Play and Director’s Script
5) Camera Angles
6) Shots and Situations

After noon, there will be a practical section. The whole group will be split into four movie making crews and they will be provided with mini DV cameras and Laptop for editing purpose. The four group are supposed to make a short movie based on any particular theme. There will be lunch and snacks for everyone attending.

The Venue: Malabar Hall, Park Centre
Date: 27th July 2008

Time: 09.30 am to 5.00 pm

Entry Fee: Rs. 500

30) Exercise before Movicamp

Try to read the short story “Rachi Amma” written by Uroob. Our program leader Harikumar directed that story in 2005 (Sona Nair and Madhupal acted in that). It is a 28 minutes length short movie.

If possible write a screen play as per your vision from this story. Harikumar will show his movie at the camp, so that you can compare your vision with the professional. You can either download the story (zip file) from the below link:
